Born and raised in the Old World, near the vast ocean, port to exotic lands, dwelling-place of seagulls and dreams of the Empire. I discovered the music of the lute with twelve years old in an obscure radio, Dowland no less, a sound that I never forgot, and that remembering it in my mind is to bring the sound of breaking waves, the creaking timbers and sails on the wind. One day that galleon took me to the New World, where Brazil opened its arms to me and gave me the opportunity to follow my life’s purpose studying the lute at EMB - School of Music of Brasilia, the one they say it is the best of Latin America.
This blog is the result of my study and research experience, and is thought mainly to make the "instrument of the angels" leave its small elitist circles and reach a wider audience, encouraging curiosity and its teaching.

Nascido e criado no Velho Mundo, junto ao vasto Oceano, porto para terras exóticas, morada de gaivotas e sonhos do Império. Descobri a música de alaúde com doze anos numa rádio obscura, nada menos que Dowland, um som que nunca esqueci, e que recordá-lo na minha memória é trazer o som das ondas quebrando, das madeiras rangendo e das velas ao vento. Um dia esse galeão me levou ao Novo Mundo, onde o Brasil abriu os seus braços para mim e me deu a oportunidade de seguir o propósito da minha vida ao estudar alaúde na EMB – Escola de Música de Brasília, aquela que dizem ser a melhor da América Latina.

Este blog resulta da minha experiência de estudo e pesquisa, e é pensado, sobretudo para fazer o “instrumento dos anjos” sair dos seus pequenos círculos elitistas e chegar a um público mais alargado, fomentando a curiosidade e o seu ensino.
